Katherine Mainolfi Koppenhaver, Certified Document Examiner

Mrs. Koppenhaver has been a document examiner, also known as a handwriting expert, since 1983 and a Certified Document Examiner since 1986. She is past president of the National Association of Document Examiners (NADE) and is editor of the Communique, the association's quarterly newsletter. She has authored numerous books and articles in the field of document examination. Mrs. Koppenhaver is co-author of the Forensic Document Examination Correspondence Course and has lectured at many seminars. William A. Koppenhaver, Forensic Document Photographer

Mr. Koppenhaver has worked with his wife for the last 17 years. He has completed courses in Forensic Science and Criminal Justice, and has received specialized training in his field through NADE and the Evidence Photographer's International Council (EPIC). Bill Koppenhaver photographs documents using micro-photography and is a specialist in exhibit-preparation for courtcases. He writes a bi-monthly column in the NADE newsletter entitled "High Tech." and lectures on technical matters. He is a member of NADE and EPIC. Mary Helen Bean, Forensic Document Examiner

Mary Helen Bean is a graduate of SUNY Oneonta and a recipient of a Masters Degree from Loyola College. She has apprenticed to Ms. Koppenhaver. She is court-qualified in Maryland and Virginia.She is a member of the National Association of Document Examiners.
